This Template-based Automated Graphic System was developed to generate broadcast quality graphics on-the-fly for live events like Indian Parliament and Assembly Elections, live Game/Quiz shows like 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' etc.
The system allows a creative engineer to define RTX templates by abstracting objects - Text, Graphics, Video etc - from a composite graphic.
At run-time, the operator chooses the right graphic template and clicks on the button on the Visual Interface. This interface obtains data from the database and uses RTX controls to run the template and render Broadcast quality graphics on Television. Inscriber's Digimix Suite controls the Video & Graphics Frame Buffer to perform the video effects.
The software can be customized to drives the buzzers, stage lights, viewer's dialpad etc. Polling Devices communicates to the PC through the serial port.
This is implemented using Windows NT, VB 5.0, RTX, Inscriber's Digimix Suite and MS Access .
